3 Tips for Being in the NOW!

Body Work, Empaths, Spirituality, The Heart Chakra

So many of us are disconnected from the present moment. We OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAregret the past and worry about the future. We spend way too much time in feared and imagined possibilities and potentials that we cease to see what is manifested right before us. I wrote about this a couple weeks back for LOTUS EFFECT and I thought I’d share it today for all of my readers on CHAKRA CENTER.

3 Tips for Being in the Now

The power of now is unlimited potential. In this moment you get to choose. What perspective do you want to have about your life? Where do you want to direct your focus? What you choose to do with your now will shape and direct your entire future. Now is the only thing that truly exist.

Dragging the past into the present drains the now of its power. Past pain, disappointments, fears, patterns, all of them are simply our journey of growth and expansion. They only have the power to affect the now if we allow them to. Our past doesn’t belong now. The now is for the NEW.

What if you left the past in the past and allowed your now to be a clean slate? Doing this does not require you to bypass your emotions, lotus flowerignore trauma or wounds, or even deny the way the past has lent itself to your current situation. Being in the now simply gives you the freedom to have a new perspective. What meaning are you giving the past? Is that meaning true?

The now invites you to release your judgments and comparisons about the past and realize the gift of the moment. Every moment is new. The now is where you hold all your power and that power is perspective. You can ALWAYS choose how you will see the world – what meaning you will give to each passing moment.

If you have trouble keeping the past in the past, here are 3 tips to help change your perspective:

  1. Acknowlege and validate all past wounds and traumas. Her Healing Heart 1Often those who bring their past in the future have never actually validated their pain, but hold on like hell to their story and conclusion about it. This is what a “victim mentality” truly is. If we can’t validate and accept our wounds, we will always be a victim to them.
  1. Question your beliefs about wounds. If a child is sexually abused, they may form a belief about themselves because of the trauma. Maybe they believe they deserved it or they are not worthy of love. Perhaps they conclude they are dirty or defiled. Although the pain that caused these beliefs is very real, the beliefs themselves don’t have to be. Is what you believe about yourself true? Can you gain another perspective? You must be brave enough to question everything about your current belief system if you want to utilize the full power of the “now.” Beliefs and judgments only serve as limitations. The beliefs around our wounds are what cause the true damage.
  1. Get a new perspective. Now it’s time to tell a new story. Yes we’ve been wounded. Yes it matters. Yes we need time to heal. But we get to choose how we will define our pain. We can choose to allow it to make us stronger. What will your new perspective on life be? How do you want to see the world?

The past can hurt us, yes, but it does not have to rob us of our present. It does not need to define our now. Allow your NOW to be a new definition of your power. Let the power of your now shift your perspective and expand your beliefs about what is possible. Utilize its abundant potential. Now is all there is. Use it wisely.

Activate and Harmonize the Desires of Your Heart

Body Work, Chakra Centers, Empaths, Meditation, Spirituality, The Third Eye Chakra, The Throat Chakra, Uncategorized

cropped-chakra-center2.jpgThe picture below is activated with pranic healing energy. I found it online and felt a jolt throughout my entire heart chakra. Because of its powerful template, I used it to also encode my own intentions/magic.

It contains the vibration of inner harmony within the heart chakra when connected and activated fully with the sarcal chakra. It also balances/integrates all seven chakras.

When you look at it, breathe in deeply and notice how the energy is moving through your body. Ask yourself what you feel, and what you need. Listen closely to how your body gives you the answer. Write it down if helpful.

Notice how your desires are stirred and moved into your heart to be activated and settled into their most harmonic path. Allow yourself at least a solid 3 minutes looking at it, and receive the activations that are encoded.

It’s pretty epic! Feel free to share your experience~!

How to Open and Clear the Chakras

As many of my blog followers know, I also write content for the amazingly brilliant, conscious fashion company, Lotus Effect.

Today’s article is all about understanding, opening, and clearing the chakras, and since this is Chakra Center after all, I felt it would be an appropriate blog share for today!

Enjoy!

Believed to be the centers for spiritual energy, the 7 Chakras are a chakras3.jpgcrucial system for understanding the flow of personal life force. Not only do these center points hold specific energy in the body, they also flow back and forth between each other and represent a vital aspect of our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Each individual chakra has a specific purpose in the body, and can be blocked by unhealed emotions and trauma. When one of these energy centers is blocked, it messes with the balance of our entire system. Blocked chakras can lead to illness, as well as spiritual and emotional unrest. Understanding how to clear and balance the chakras is crucial for our overall health.

Knowing where these energy center points are located in the body, as well as their emotional components, is an important step in learning how to be in-tune with the body’s life force.

Here is a basic overview:

Root Chakra – Located at the base of the spine, the root chakra is rootchakra2where the body carries its survival energy. Issues of money, food, and stability are associated with this chakra. When opened and clear one feels grounded and at peace. The emotion that blocks this chakra is fear.

If you carry fear for your basic survival (this can include financial stress or eating disorders), it is important to work on healing your root chakra. The key to healing this chakra is surrendering to your fears and allowing them to flow through you (rather than resisting and suppressing them).

Color associated with the root chakra: Red

Sacral Chakra – Located about 2 inches below the navel and 2 sacral chakra2inches in, is the sacral chakra. Related to the ability to give and receive, as well as sexual and creative energy, this chakra deals with pleasure, and is blocked by guilt. Because of social and religious programming, most people have blocks in their sacral chakra.

Feeling guilt related to receiving pleasure (of any form), creativity, or sexuality – or carrying emotional trauma related to sexuality,  is an indication the sacral chakra needs to be healed and cleared.

Look at the things you feel guilty about in your life. Accept the reality of the events, and learn to forgive yourself. It is impossible for this chakra to be opened and balanced without self-forgiveness and acceptance.

Color associated with the sacral chakra: Orange

Solar Plexus Chakra – Located in the abdomen/stomach area, solar plexusthe solar plexus chakra deals with one’s sense of personal power and self-control, and is blocked by shame. Feelings of self-worth, self-confidence, and self-esteem are tied to this chakra.

In order to open and clear the solar plexus, it is essential to love and accept all aspects of yourself, including your mistakes.

Color associated with the solar plexus chakra: Yellow

Heart Chakra – Located in the center of the chest, just above the heart chakraheart, the heart chakra deals with our joy, inner peace, and ability to love. This chakra is blocked by grief.

To clear and release the heart chakra, it is important to acknowledge, validate, and release all loss. Allow yourself to feel the pain of grief. Do not hold and suppress the sadness — let your emotions flow.

Color associated with the heart chakra: Green

Throat Chakra – Located in the throat, the throat chakra deals throat chakrawith the ability to communicate truth, and is blocked by lies – especially the lies we tell ourselves.

To heal and open the throat chakra, it is important to release all self-denial and lies – even when those lies are functioning as a coping mechanism. We cannot lie about our own nature. It is impossible to be able to communicate in a powerful way when one holds onto self-deluded lies.

Color associated with the throat chakra: Blue

Third Eye Chakra – Located on the forehead between the eyes, cropped-7chakra1.jpgthe third eye deals with the ability to focus on and see the big picture (as well as psychic vision and insight). This chakra is blocked by illusion. The greatest illusion of this world is the illusion of separation.

In order to heal and clear this chakra, it is crucial to release all illusion within ourselves and understand we are connected to all things. There is no separation. Things we think are separate and different, are actually one and the same.

Color associated with the thrid eye chakra: Indigo

Crown Chakra – Located at the very top of the head, this highest Crown-chakrachakra represents the ability to be fully connected spiritually. It deals with pure, cosmic energy, and is blocked by earthly attachment.

Healing and opening the crown chakra requires us to let go of the things we hold on to most desperately, trusting the love and flow of the Universe/Source within us to be our ultimate fulfillment and bliss.

Opening the crown chakra is not about denying our desires or connection to the earth, it is simply about letting go of our grasp and surrendering to Universal cosmic energy (or God).

Color associated with the crown chakra: Violet

Opening and healing the chakras is about walking the spiritual path of self-awareness. It is not something that is done in one mediation, but rather a daily practice on the inward journey. By tuning into our emotional blockages and needs, we allow ourselves to expand, trust, and ultimately be set free.

Why Sex Should Be Treated As A Spiritual Practice

Body Work, Features, Spirituality

cropped-chakra-center2.jpg

MindBodyGreen is a frequent feature here at Chakra Center. And the following article is a shinning example of why. The connection between sexuality and spirituality is one I have been exploring in depth, and quite frankly am astonished at how little information/conversation is going on about it. Because exploration like this is rare, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share this blog as a guest post. I’d love to hear your thoughts/opinions below.

Why Sex Should Be Treated As A Spiritual Practice

by Robert Peng

Mention the word sex and eyes widen and ears perk up. The strong reaction the subject arouses reflects the spicy nature of sexual energy. We may be at the gym feeling tired and depleted, but if someone we find attractive starts working out next to us, our energy level is suddenly boosted. That energetic intensification represents the activation of our Lower Dantian (energy center below the navel), which holds our sexual energy in reserve.

Pure sexual energy is as unstable as dynamite and just as explosive. It can transport us to sublime states of bliss and delight, or cast us into the darkest pits of anguish, terror, and depravity. The volatile and wild nature of sexual energy convinced some religious traditions to view it as an impediment to spiritual development, and to some degree this belief still continues to perpetuate in the popular imagination because of the confusion, heartache, and pain that sexual intimacy can cause.

To demonstrate this, rank the following three words from the most to the least spiritual: wisdom, love, sex. If we took a poll, the top position might be a tossup between wisdom and love, but without a doubt sex would rank last on the list. No one questions the connection between spirituality and love or spirituality and wisdom. But the link between spirituality and sexuality is a harder sell.

From the Qigong perspective, however, the notion that sexuality and spirituality are antithetical is misguided, because sexual energy forms one of the cornerstones of happiness. If we ever hope to secure long-lasting happiness in a loving relationship, we must heal our socially conditioned distortions about sexuality. We must erase the invisible line we draw with our minds around our beltlines, above which lies the greater part of human nature and below which lies the lesser. In essence, we must spiritualize sex.

But how do we redeem sexuality and elevate it to the spiritual Sacralstatus it deserves? How do we reconcile the square of sex with the circle of spirit when sexual pleasure is often responsible for so much shame, trauma, and pain? One place to begin searching for an answer to these questions lies in identifying the fundamental, seemingly irreconcilable differences between male and female sexuality. Those differences swiftly become apparent in the bedroom.

Stereotypically, male sexual energy flares up and is exhausted quickly, like a match, while female sexual energy boils slowly and remains hot for a long time, like a pot of boiling water. These different tempos are a source of shame for men who climax too fast and frustration for women who may not climax at all. This problem is then compounded by the notorious fact that when male sexual energy is activated men often become emotionally unavailable, and the other notorious fact that the female sexual experience is often laden with sentimentalism that men normally can’t relate to.

Obviously, we can’t alter our sexual instincts. What we can do, however, is use spiritual practice to overcome the limitations imposed by nature on our sexuality. In fact, we can transform the inherent mismatch between male and female sexuality into an incredible opportunity for spiritual growth.

Let’s begin by considering the way Qigong can help a man harness his sexual energy. When male sexual energy is aroused, it intensifies locally around the genitals and quickly flows out of the body. That is the natural pattern of male sexual energy. But men can learn to reverse that flow and direct their sexual essence upward, toward the Middle Dantian (energy center at located at the heart level). By doing so, a man accomplishes two goals. First, he diminishes the urge to ejaculate, and second, as sexual energy rises to his heart, passion blends with love and tenderness. A man who masters this skill is able to prolong intercourse indefinitely and deepen his emotional connection during lovemaking.

When female sexual energy is aroused, it naturally flows inward and upward from the genitals toward the heart. Stimulation of the breasts further activates the Middle Dantian (energy center at located at the heart level) and reinforces an emotional response. Unlike men, women don’t need to practice Qigong to integrate their sexual vitality with their love. These qualities mingle naturally, and in this respect, female sexuality is inherently more integrated.

But through spiritual practice both women and men can learn to integrate their sexual energy to even higher levels. Sexual vitality can be directed upward from the heart to the top of the head, where it becomes infused with the blissful quality of sacredness. And from there, sexual vitality can be circulated through the Central Meridian Meridian (the energy channel that unifies the three main energy centers — the Dantians) into the sky, where it is experienced as heavenly ecstasy.

Sexuality that centers on the genitals and the Lower Dantian (energy center below the navel) corresponds to passionate sex. Sexuality that integrates the sexual vitality of the Lower Dantian with the heart-centered energy of the Middle Dantian corresponds to intense lovemaking. Sexuality that integrates all three dantians corresponds to blissful sacred love. And sexuality that integrates the all three dantians and the Central Meridian corresponds to cosmic ecstasy.

Cosmic ecstasy is vastly more intense, pleasurable, and meaningful than even the most passionate sex. Comparing the two is like contrasting a bathtub with the ocean.

There is no surer way to bring long-lasting happiness into an intimate relationship than to ground it in enduring bliss.

Intuitive Traveling: An Interview with Megan Abbott

Interviews, Spirituality, The Throat Chakra, Uncategorized

cropped-chakra-center2.jpg

As many of us are consciously unplugging from the Matrix, we’re megan 4learning new ways of being and manifesting in this world. We, as a human race, are collectively moving toward instant manifestation.

What use to take years to come into our experience is now only taking weeks, sometimes just days. And it’s only getting quicker.

I’ve found in my own journey that one of the most effective ways to practice the art of manifesting is through intuitive traveling. It’s a way of traveling that removes “plans” and agendas (and even budgets) and allows you to simply follow your intuition, allowing the Universe to provide the “how.”

Although I’ve done this in small doses while living in Italy and other places on the planet (and I currently just began a new intuitive travel journey — which I will share about at a later date on Chakra Center), I’ve asked seasoned traveler, Megan Abbott, to stop by and share her experiences with intuitive traveling and offer any tips/advice about how to get started.

Megan has been to many countries around the world, with very little money, planning, or agenda. The experiences and miracles she has encountered on her trips have been nothing short of epic.

*What exactly is “intuitive traveling” and how long have you been doing it?

I was guided to begin my practice of intuitive traveling three years meganago when I found myself spontaneously buying a one-way ticket to Alaska. At the time, the idea of travel was altogether foreign to me, as well as exhilarating and terrifying.

All I knew at the time was that I was hungry for adventure, for the opportunity to experience liberation, to explore and connect with unknown places and new people, and to develop my connection with myself and my source. I also intended on facing and understanding all of my shadows along the way with the hopes of creating the best possible version of myself which is still in the process of becoming.

I had no idea what I had signed myself up for at the time, but going with the flow of my intuitive feeling to “just go” was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I wasn’t planning on getting so hooked on travel, but my experience in Alaska was so mind-blowingly expansive and positive that I proceeded to continue my journey through Hawaii, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, and Puerto Rico. In May 2014 I will continue my journey through South America.

All of these travels were done on EXTREMELY minimal money, connections or planning. They were made solely possible through playing with the energies of creation, manifestation, love, visualization, joy and through trusting that the universe has my back every step of the way.

*How does traveling make your life more magical and add to megan6soul expansion?

Intuitive traveling presents us with the opportunity to take leaps of faith, to liberate ourselves, to practice mindfulness, to live in the present moment, and to reconstruct and reprogram ourselves to become more aligned with our true purposes.

*What is your favorite thing about traveling?

My favorite thing about traveling is the way that it has opened me up and connected me to Source energy and to my vital life force. From traveling alone I have learned to become my own best friend and to create an incredibly strong friendship with the universe. This connection has allowed me to see myself in everyone I’ve met along my journey and to feel at home no matter how unfamiliar the element.

From being away, I’ve also developed my overall sense of appreciation and gratitude for my family, loved ones, humanity, and the process of life.

*How would you recommend someone getting started with an intuitive traveling journey?

To anyone that would like to start an intuitive traveling journey– megan butterflyyou must own your power and believe that it is completely in your own hands to create and manifest the journey of your dreams. Believing that it is possible, it is in your power and creating the space in your life for a life-changing journey are huge factors in manifesting an epic trip.

I would like to note to remember to have fun and to play around with this process as much as possible, for instance, look at a map, choose the place of your dreams, announce to the universe when you will be going and then create the space in your life for it to manifest, then watch the way things magically unfold. I have watched the most beautiful manifestations materialized by using this exact method.

*What are some of the magical ways the Universe has provided for you/surprised you on your travels?

I have encountered many magical people and experienced many miracles throughout my journeys. The one that stands out to me the most actually occurred early on in my travels, it was my third day in Homer, Alaska.

I met a super kindred spirit, a man in his 70’s named Chris at a little restaurant called the Cosmic Cafe (ha! the beautiful irony of that name in retrospect…) and I began speaking to him excitedly about my new adventure. After connecting over the beauty of the universe for some time he told me that the universe had been incredibly generous to him throughout his years and that he had been waiting for the opportunity to give back in some way.

He asked me to please accept a gift from him, I agreed to be open to receiving. It turned out that the gift was a car (he happened to have a few extra that sat unused in his garage) he excitedly insisted that he didn’t want anything in return. The next day we met at the DMV and he signed the title over, it was an absolute miracle!

Up until that point I had planned on hitchhiking as my main mode of transportation but the car changed everything and opened up many doors for more magic down the road

*How can people hear more about your travels?

I intend on starting a blog (or possibly a youtube vlog) for my megan natureupcoming trip to Peru. I will be working with Ayahuasca in the Amazon jungle, so I’m excited to share my experiences. I will most likely use facebook as my main mode for updates regarding the status of my blog, as well as to regularly post photos and status updates on my trip.

*What is your number one tip for living an enchanted life?

Live through the heart, align with your purpose, follow your bliss, and trust in the Universe.

7 Days to Healthier Balance and Greater Abundance through Shadow Integration
An Online Group Course

with Charis Melina Brown and Amanda Flaker

March 23 – 30, 2014

What is Energetic Hygiene? Picture

You know those people who seem perfectly nice and you feel as if you should be just fine spending time with them, and yet you do not like interacting with them and feel yucky or drained afterward? Even if they may love being around you?
The reason that you feel icky is that these folks are not watching their energetic hygiene. This is a skill not taught in our culture – as long as we smile, talk politely, and remain within the cultural balance taught in the physical world, energetic bullying, messiness, projection, and pulling is not mentioned nor is it brought consciously into balance by most people in our world.
Not only will this course address how to deal with others with sub-par energetic hygiene, it will help us to make sure our OWN auras are shiny, bright, and integrated harmoniously with those around us. We have all had our moments of being “energetically stinky” and this course is designed to help you become conscious of what you are participating in energetically at all times, so you can direct what you are giving and receiving with full lucidity.

The truth is that our world is NOT always butterflies Pictureand rainbows.
Each of us has a shadow side that, when not integrated, can sabotage our efforts at balance, joy, and prosperity.
When integrated, however, these shadow aspects simply become more notes in the harmonic chord that each of our presences on this planet create, allowing us to heal ourselves and those around us with our clarity, love, understanding, compassion, and the way we embrace our own unique power and responsibility here.
A taste of the course:
Day 1: The Importance of Owning and Honoring Your Inner Shade…
Day 3: Allowing Our Power to be Perceived…

Enrollment in the course includes a free garnet amulet necklace.

A huge part of the course will be in charging this stone with intentions (matching its natural clarification and transmutation properties) that align with course objectives.

This work is real and intense – and the crystal will hold the vibrations of what we do here, assisting you in continued integration indefinitely after the course has come to an end.

Register for Energetic Hygiene: $77

Please make sure to include your preferred email address on the order form.

Necklaces will be shipped out just before class begins, so we can all charge them together. 🙂

Enchantment Through Art: An Interview with Akiane Kramarik

Book Reviews, Empaths, Interviews, Spirituality, The Heart Chakra, Uncategorized, Websites

cropped-chakra-center2.jpg

The first time I came across Akiane’s work I was in a “New Age” book store in Portland, Oregon. The fact that I was there in the first place was ironic, because I had grown-up Christian and built a pretty strong resistance around myself to ideas outside my faith.

But it was time to explore what was out there. I was in the middle of my own existential crisis and found no relief within the box of my upbringing.

As a child I often heard voices. I couldn’t see the world they whispered from, but I sensed and felt their dimension around me. At times it felt dark and scary, but mostly it held an enchantment of comfort and magic that gave me a sense of being “home.” Curious, I thought, the way the adults move and slipped through this unseen world with no mention of its existence.

Eventually I found a way to curve my way through this invisible realm too. The 3rd dimension has a way of forcing our attention to see only what it wants us to see. We forget we have a choice. Magic is lost to us.

Lost. That’s the overwhelming feeling I had as I timidly flipped through books in this store that, though I had been warned was “dangerous,” I felt as if the pages here contained the sense of mystery and wonder I had lost as I child — if there was any magic left in the world all.

That’s when I looked-up and saw the face of Jesus looking at me from the cover of Akiana’s book. It was a painting she had done herself at the age of 8, and it captivated me.

Before I knew what happened I was devouring every page — her poetry brought back the rhythm of the world I felt and heard as a child. Her paintings were a photo album of a home I had forgotten. Even her face looked familiar — like a distant cousin I hadn’t seen since childhood games.

Like me, Akiane had experienced the magic that weaves in-and-out of our world since a very young age. Her gift was painting — a powerful medium for revealing the beauty through her ability to portray the visible and invisible realms with emotion and dream-like realism.

I’ve been a fan of Akiana’s work ever since that day. The worlds she paints were an activation for me. There is a beauty she brings to life to remind us there is MORE — so much more magic than we allow ourselves to experience. It’s right here — waiting for us to see.

An excerpt from Akiane’s website defines the power of her vision beautifully:

“Most of her priceless masterpieces carry a mysterious result: she often uses an unidentified golden dust substance that once ‘materialized’ in front of her eyes. Her painting “Innocence” is a hologram: from the front the lady appearing young and serene, but from the side she is all in tears and wrinkles.

Akiane believes that people in the future will be able to study her originals with special microscopes revealing quantum relationships of the deepest colors and stories in her works. She has even been able to document her own masterpieces from beginning to end on film for educational purposes, and remains always open for many scientific and artistic collaborations.”

As Chakra Center continues to grow and encompass more magic, I thought it only fitting that I ask one of the most enchanting artist I know to stop by and share some of her quantum vision with us.

Enjoy!

Through your work you lend a sense of magic and mystery to the world – a feeling that everything has a purpose and is divinely inspired. How do you experience magic in your own life?

It’s not something you can teach, it’s something that you learn through experience.

Every day I see ordinary things in this extraordinary world, and I see extraordinary things in this ordinary world. To be able to create cinematic-like experience from a simple sound, object, color, emotion or a scenery takes patience and confidence.

Your newer paintings have a deep sense of wisdom, dimensions, and other worlds. What is your perspective on the relevance of other worlds/dimensions to our own?

What we all share is “awareness”. We are in a invisible intertwined web, the more we move there, the more we get to experience a wider range of relationships .

I hope my art would be part of that web. When people get the chance to see other worlds, I hope, they trust their own compass to navigate through true reality…

You’re a big advocate of using creativity as a means to tap into our true essence and see the world through a more magical, divine perspective. What are your tips on how people can tap into that creative world inside of them?

Experiment with various art forms. Try doing what people don’t expect. Going against the tide is one of the many hurdles a creative person must take. Mix things, put them upside down, hang them, combine them. If for the first week after all your energy is put in a project you do not feel any accomplishment, then it is a sign to start again something more innovative.

Some of your paintings have a very “extra-terrestrial” feel to them. What are your thoughts on ETs/life on other planets and their role in the co-creation of the multi-verses and our own universe?

I believe in my early experiences I came across multiple encounters. Throughout our history MANY other beings have lived on this earth side-by-side with the human race. There is definitely a purpose for so many trillions of beings to co-exist. Just look within our own bodies: there is a discovery every week about another living organism that has lived inside us without our knowledge.

Describe what inspiration feels like to you…

Inspiration and epiphanies are experienced when mind and heart meet.

What would you tell someone who wants to follow their joy path, but has no idea where to begin?

Get immersed in an environment that matters to you. If it’s in teaching, then volunteer at a school and get a first hand experience. If it’s in sculpting, research nearby local sculptors’s guild and visit their studios. If it’s in film-making, find a group on the internet like a weekly meet-up, invest in a camera and start with small projects with your family and friends and etc…

You’ve said in interviews that you believe, eventually, the human race will become vegan and that eating a plant based diet lends to a higher frequency of love on the planet. Could you share a bit about your experience going vegan and how it has changed your life/perspective?

Yes, in the future we will find a loophole in our biological system that will allow us to change our molecular programming. A few years ago I did experiment with veganism. As I matured and researched more, I understood that all living things have emotions and capacity to experience fear and pain. In the future, I believe we will naturally find a better treasure for our energy resources, so no flora or fauna would suffer because of our existence.

We do not contribute to the nature’s system, we intervene like parasites. I am still 60% vegan, I am an advocate for preserving lives. And I thank everything that sustains me. Praying before eating is a thanksgiving time: someone has died so I could live.

What’s your number one tip for living an enchanted life?

Spend time with your friends and family , watch comedy , make comedy, and once in a while do something unexpected…

Private concert, who’s playing? Tony Bennett, Chris Botti or Joe Hisaishi.

Your stranded on a deserted island with only one book. What would it be? Ilia’s, my little brother’s book “The Future Never Gives Up”.

cropped-chakra-center2.jpg

In many religious and ‘spiritual’ circles, emotions are often viewed as an enemy to be reckoned with, Shadows are feared, and egos are to be slain. To be ‘emotional’ is to be weak and to be weak is to be undeserving. To have darkness is to be devoid of Light. To enjoy the unique perspective of our ego, is to be without empathy.

Suppressing these fundamental aspects of our humanity is a detrimental belief system to ascribe to. At its core, the good vs. bad mentality teaches us that being human is somehow wrong. When we put ourselves under this belief system, we have no choice but to view our ‘human condition’ as one we must continuously fight.

Downloaded with this program and raised within it, most humans either feel a call to raise up arms and slay the human aspects of our experience (anything pertaining to the ‘flesh’) or simply surrender to their “base instincts” and choose to luxuriate in them. Hence the human drama as it has been from the beginning: fight against your flesh or succumb to its debauchery. Those are our options.

The ones who choose to “fight the good fight” arm themselves with good intentions, moral behavior, and beams of light as they proceed into the “darkness” to slay anything (and any one) that would dare cause them to experience contrast. The term “light worker” itself comes from this energy, and many of us who feel drawn to this “higher calling” often feel separate from the rest of humanity, as if we are on a sacred mission to save the world. The very words themselves (“light worker”/ “higher calling”) suggests there are those with a “lower call”/less important life path, or imply we have no darkness – a belief that is in fact, destructive. We don’t realize we ourselves often strengthen the “darkness” by our resistance of it.

The energy imbued in the very spiritual language we use (and the hierarchy we place ourselves in) makes us feel we must belong to a special category of humans and therefore are above feeling/experiencing the challenges every other human faces. As a result, when we go through periods where we don’t feel particularly high vibe, wise, spiritual, or ‘moral,’ we feel the need to protect others from our emotions and hide-out in a prayer of self-analysis until we fix the ‘problem.’ Or we simply deny how we feel, suppress our Shadow, and continue acting like the good light worker (or religious person) we feel we should be. We do everything but BE REAL.

Here’s the deal:

*We’re no more special than anyone else on this planet. We don’t need a calling, super human soul path, Star Origin, or Church to justify our existence and make us valuable.

*We all have a Shadow, and contrary to popular negative sentiment toward darkness, the Shadow can be our Greatest Teacher. It’s okay to integrate it. In fact, it’s necessary for true freedom and expansion.

So many “light workers” have been caught-up in the mundane rat race of the Matrix, the battle between good and evil, and the struggle to survive, that we believe the only way to justify our existence is through living a life of perfection, or by ascribing to a path that makes us feel more special, moral, or ‘gifted’ than the rest of humanity. We feel the need to separate from our own Shadow because we’ve come to see humans as weak, stupid, emotional, unwise, ‘sinful,’ and dangerous. The pitfall in this type of thinking is twofold:

*It cuts us off from a fundamental aspect of who we are (regardless of our soul origins, religious beliefs, or spiritual practices, we are here, participating in the human experience as a human and co-creating this reality with everyone else).

*It perpetuates the “us and them” mentality which fuels the illusion of separation.

We are all powerful in our own ways, all weak in our unique wounds/chosen path of expansion, and we have all chosen to come into a holographic dimension that reflects our thoughts/emotions back to us. How we perceive this hologram is only a reflection of US, not of the hologram itself. We see the world not as it truly is, but as WE are.

We can’t hide from ourselves here. Everyone we judge is us. Every experience we have is a reflection of us. Every belief we have will show up in our experience, in the exact vibration in which we believe it can manifest. It’s all us. This dimension is a training ground for our soul’s expansion and our judgments only serve to limit the possibilities of what we experience here. Judgments offer no salvation – regardless of how safe they make us feel.

Ultimately, we are all One, and our experience of the One is unique to our soul’s chosen path. There is no “elite” group (or cursed group), or any group that is more accountable to this hologram than another. We are ALL co-creating this experience, and we are all powerfully fueling this illusion — some of us are just more conscious of it than others.

As we increase our awareness of how and what we are doing with the energy in this dimension, it becomes imperative to continually remind ourselves that every person who comes into our experience IS a mirror of us — of our own thoughts. Any judgment or belief we have about another is ultimately one we have about ourselves. The journey of freedom from the Matrix is an inward path of expansion – not an external battle.

When we experience pain, it is crucial that we ask ourselves “what thought/wound/emotion is this experience reflecting back to me?” Then we listen without judgment. We allow our souls to learn from our experiences — to Shift our perspective. There is freedom in surrender.

Let’s let ourselves off the hook. We don’t need to justify our existence through good works. Freedom won’t come by suppressing the darkness. Salvation from the illusion of separation won’t come by denying our humanity. True release is as simple as shifting our perspectives. Our Shadow has no power over us when we embrace it as the Teacher it is meant to be.

Let’s stop fueling the lie that we need to be set apart from the rest in order to be worthy of love. Let’s free ourselves from the belief that some of us are above humanity. Let’s put down our “light sabers” and choose to radically surrender to unconditional love in EVERY aspect of who we are. Only in this way can be free the pendulum swing of extremes within us.

And so it is with you.

The Art of Empathic Shapeshifting Online Class

Empaths, Online Classes/Retreats, Spirituality

The Art of Empathic Shapeshifting Online Class Feb. 24th – March 11th 2014

In this class we will be exploring, in depth, the empathic art of shapeshifting.

What is empathic shapeshifting, you may ask?

It’s the ability to shift your energy/vibration to be the projection of what a person needs (or a fun way of describing how one lowers/raises their vibration to match their environment).

I call it an “art” because like all natural abilities, it must be honed and cultivated to really reveal its true beauty/power.

Most empaths shapeshift unconsciously, but because they’re not aware of what’s taking place, it can cause them to feel alone, unknown, invisible, and unsure of who and what they really are. It can also cause them to jump into other people’s paradigms that aren’t the most beneficial for their growth/expansion.

Learning to actively and consciously shapeshift (and when to turn it off) is crucial to thriving as an empath. Once empaths learn to control this ability and direct their focus, shapeshifting can be quite a fun/unexpected journey into other realms (and much more effective in helping others).

Understanding this ability and how to function in a healthy/balanced energy grid while practicing the art of shapeshifting is what this class is all about.

For those of you have taken my “Empowering Empathic Abilities” online course (or those who are joining in on the 21 Day Empowering Empathic Abilities Challenge), this is a perfect “next step.” But anyone who is interested can take this course. All are welcome!

This class is intended for empaths who already understand who and what they are, but want to move forward in fine-tuning their abilities.

Decoding the Messages of the Universe

Spirituality

Have you ever turned on the radio and song that speaks directly to your current circumstances just happens to be playing? Do consecutive numbers seem to follow you everywhere you go? Do you ever flip on the TV just in time to hear an inspirational message? Have you ever considered this all might be the way the Universe communicates with you?

Yes! You’re important enough for the Universe to talk to. In fact, purple-passion-heart-loveyou’re so important that Source will move heaven and earth (literally) to get your attention.

Think about it. Spirit is everywhere. Its essence is non-physical but uses the physical world around us to speak. In reality, when Spirit speaks, life is created and propelled forward.

Spirit communicates to us moment by moment through synchronicity, music, numbers, signs, and our own intuition. Often when we don’t pay attention, the messages will get louder – we might get sick (our bodies telling us to slow down because we’ve somehow misses all the 100 ways prior to the illness it tried to tell us the same thing). We may get into a car accident, or have a close call with death. Have you ever considered the possibility that something or someone is trying to get you to look deeper?

You are not alone, and you never have been. Support is with you at all times, asking you to look within and pay attention to the life you have manifested around you. Listen to the message of the skies and trees – the message of numbers and colors.

If you stopped for a moment – just a moment – and listened closely, really looked at the subtle nudges and , what would you hear?

Today I challenge you to listen. Don’t wait for the message to hit blissful isolationyour over the head. Spirit only takes drastic measures when you’re not paying attention. Learn to listen to the signs. Tune into your intuitive nudges. Pay attention to the signs and watch for synchronicity.

You’ll soon understand everything around you contains a sacred letter from the Universe. Everywhere you look is an invitation from the to see further into the mystery of what we’re co-creating with the Source of Life itself. If you observe the web of messages daily weaving around your world, you may just discover how enchanting life really is. And you’ll never feel alone.

Pure magic.

How to Bend Time

Spirituality

I’m experimenting with bending time.

Have you ever tried it before? I find that consciously recognizing  bending time3time is an illusion, setting an intention, and using visualization tips to break linear constructs and ride the curve of energy, works wonders for speeding up or slowing down time to fit your needs.

This concept is nothing new or special. It’s simply an awareness of higher science. Time does not exist. It never has. But the illusion of time does. Here is an excerpt from The Guardian about Einstein’s theory of time/space reality:

The theory explained

“When Einstein wrote his general theory of relativity in 1915, he found a new way to describe gravity. It was not a force, as Sir Isaac Newton had supposed, but a consequence of the distortion of space and time, conceived together in his theory as ‘space-time’. Any object distorts the fabric of space-time and the bigger it is, the greater the effect.

Just as a bowling ball placed on a trampoline stretches the fabric gravity-bending-space-time-75157774825_xlargeand causes it to sag, so planets and stars warp space-time – a phenomenon known as the ‘geodetic effect’. A marble moving along the trampoline will be drawn inexorably towards the ball.

Thus the planets orbiting the Sun are not being pulled by the Sun; they are following the curved space-time deformation caused by the Sun. The reason the planets never fall into the Sun is because of the speed at which they are travelling.

According to the theory, matter and energy distort space-time, curving it around themselves. ‘Frame dragging’ theoretically occurs when the rotation of a large body ‘twists’ nearby space and time. It is this second part of Einstein’s theory that the Nasa mission has yet to corroborate.”

Einstein was right: space and time bend. Taking this concept once step further, you can practice bending time in your own day-to-day life.

Here are three techniques to help you bend time:

1.Go into deep mediation: People underestimate what they can do in a superconscious state. On the astral plane, time does not exist. It is the perfect place to reassemble events/energy flow in your life. There are many different ways of doing this, but I find deep breath followed by a creative visualization works best.

Many people do this out of body, but you don’t have to actually go out of body to experience the results. Simply create the space in your mind where you can materialize whatever you want, and begin visualizing it as if it is already happened in your life. This jump starts the manifestation process and brings it more quickly into your experience.

For more information on how to have an out of body experience, check-out this video by Teal Scott:

2. Do a 360 degree turn: If your life is going in a direction that doesn’t feel good to you, turn it around – literally. I know this may sound crazy, but it’s worked for me:

*Stand up straight facing one direction (preferably the direction that feels most uncomfortable for you to face).

*Now visualize the direction you want your life to go (the stronger the visualization, the better). Imagine what the new direction would feel like.

*Take 5 deep breaths and turn 360 degrees, counterclockwise.

(Remember, time works on a curve, and so does EVERYTHING in nature. The turn you do is not only symbolic, it is physically turning the energy around your electromagnetic field).

3. Ride the Wave of Inspiration: Perhaps the best technique for stretching time. When you act upon the energy of your inspiration (and ride it to the end of its course) you’ll find you can create two weeks of ‘work’ in a few hours. When you are living in your bliss, time literally stands still (or “curves” to move you along your path in the fastest way possible!). Acting upon your inspiration is the most powerful way to create.

20 Things to Let Go of This Year!

Body Work, Features, Spirituality, Uncategorized

You all know I love the content on MindBodyGreen. Yesterday, a ID-100219792good friend sent me this article and I felt myself sigh a deep breath of relief. Seeing all the limiting beliefs I’ve carried around — paraded before me in a long list — somehow gave me the permission I needed to finally let them go. I, for one, am choosing to make a conscious decision to release all of these beliefs for the New Year. I choose to believe I am worthy of living my dreams, worthy of love, and I am physically, spiritually, and emotionally ready to take responsibility for what I have created in my life. This year I am replacing all of these beliefs with words and emotions that bring empowerment.

So today, Jan. 1st, 2014, what limiting beliefs do you want to let go of? Start your New Year with healthy and empowering perspective of who and what you are. Your body, mind, and soul will thank you.

Here are 20 things to let go of in order to reach unlimited happiness.

1. Let go of all thoughts that don’t make you feel empowered and strong.

2. Let go of feeling guilty for doing what you truly want to do.

3. Let go of the fear of the unknown; take one small step and watch the path reveal itself.

4. Let go of regrets; at one point in your life, that “whatever” was exactly what you wanted.

5. Let go of worrying; worrying is like praying for what you don’t want.

6. Let go of blaming anyone for anything; be accountable for your own life. If you don’t like something, you have two choices, accept it or change it.

7. Let go of thinking you are damaged; you matter, and the world needs you just as you are.

8. Let go of thinking your dreams are not important; always follow your heart.

9. Let go of being the “go-to person” for everyone, all the time; stop blowing yourself off and take care of yourself first … because you matter.

10. Let go of thinking everyone else is happier, more successful or better off than you. You are right where you need to be. Your journey is unfolding perfectly for you.

11. Let go of thinking there’s a right and wrong way to do things or to see the world. Enjoy the contrast and celebrate the diversity and richness of life.

12. Let go of cheating on your future with your past. It’s time to move on and tell a new story.

13. Let go of thinking you are not where you should be. You are right where you need to be to get to where you want to go, so start asking yourself where you want to go.

14. Let go of anger toward ex lovers and family. We all deserve happiness and love; just because it is over doesn’t mean the love was wrong.

15. Let go of the need to do more and be more; for today, you’ve done the best you can, and that’s enough.

16. Let go of thinking you have to know how to make it happen; we learn the way on the way.

17. Let go of your money woes — make a plan to pay off debt and focus on your abundance.

18. Let go of trying to save or change people. Everyone has her own path, and the best thing you can do is work on yourself and stop focusing on others.

19. Let go of trying to fit in and be accepted by everyone. Your uniqueness is what makes you outstanding.

20. Let go of self-hate. You are not the shape of your body or the number on the scale. Who you are matters, and the world needs you as you are. Celebrate you!
